OOO is a response voiced by objects themselves—an observational experiment that rejects anthropocentric narratives.

The exhibition centres around Object-Oriented Ontology (OOO), challenging human-centred perspectives and repositioning objects at the core of existence and meaning. OOO proposes that objects are not passive tools awaiting interpretation, but rather agents with their own logic and vitality.

Through installations, images, sound, and material-based interventions, the exhibition invites audiences to suspend the utilitarian view of objects and explore multidimensional relationships between objects, and between objects and humans. Here, objects are no longer silent—they collide, withdraw, and respond, shaping a sensory space led by non-human entities.

We invite viewers to shift their focus from “What do I see?” to “How are objects occurring?” No explanation. No naming. No use. Let the object simply be.

Anticipation

Thu 13 Feb/2025 | London

Exhibition Description – Anticipation

Anticipation is a group exhibition exploring the emotional tension between presence and change. Taking place at SET Ealing—a branch of SET, the London-based arts and community charity—this exhibition runs from 13–27 February and invites audiences to reflect on the psychological states that arise during moments of transition: intuition, uncertainty, and the thrill of new beginnings.

Presented by Synonym Lab in collaboration with KNST Collective, the exhibition showcases diverse artistic responses to transformation. The works delve into themes of hope, anticipation, and emotional resilience, creating a space where viewers can consider what it means to move forward while remaining grounded in the present moment.

Highlights include:

  • A private viewing on 13 February, 6:30–9:00 PM (free entry, complimentary drink included)

  • Immersive installations and interactive workshops throughout the exhibition period

STOMP is an internationally acclaimed, genre-defying performance phenomenon that has captivated audiences for over three decades. Co-created by Carl Smith and his collaborators, STOMP transforms everyday objects into instruments of rhythm and expression—using brooms, bins, and body percussion to create electrifying, high-energy performances that blend music, movement, and comedy.

Originating in the UK, STOMP has broken box office records at world-renowned venues such as Sadler’s Wells, the Royal Festival Hall, and New York’s Orpheum Theatre, earning a reputation as one of Britain’s most successful theatrical exports. The show has toured across six continents, received multiple international awards, and been featured in everything from the London 2012 Olympic Games to performances for royalty and heads of state.

Praised for its creativity, innovation, and universal appeal, STOMP continues to inspire audiences of all ages with its message: rhythm is everywhere, and anyone can be part of it.

Substance& Recoding

The Narrative of Contemporary Objects in the Semantic Turn

Thu 29 May/2025 | London

In an era shaped by accelerated information, digital interfaces, and shifting value systems, the role of objects is no longer confined to function or form. The exhibition Substance & Recoding: The Narrative of Contemporary Objects in the Semantic Turn draws on the theoretical context of the Semantic Turn, exploring how contemporary objects transform from passive subjects of observation into active agents of meaning-making. Through a constellation of artworks and participatory experiences, the exhibition interrogates how objects engage in cultural critique, responding to urgent contemporary issues and inviting multiple interpretations rather than fixed meanings. Substance & Recoding does not seek to offer a definitive reading of objects. Rather, it opens up a generative process where the object becomes both medium and protagonist. Meaning is no longer linear, but co-created by artist, audience, and environment.
